Hell no. While all of this will be spelled out in your proposal and subsequent contract, our fees are pretty straight forward, and will generally include: Stated project or retainer costs, markup on media spend Reimbursable expenses (previously approved, by you), and an annual technology fee (to cover your asset storage and a couple dozen other tools we leverage on your behalf).
If we've learned anything in our creative careers, it's that communication can solve 90% of the problems. Transparency is baked into everything we do and every system here at Watson. As a Watson client, here's what you can expect: Updates on the front end of every week that include upcoming deliverables, outstanding needs, and any other important notes, access to a secure client portal containing your project calendar, upcoming tasks, support request forms, and more. You'll also get a shared digital asset management system (DAM) for 24/7 access to all of your files as well as standing calls with one point of contact.
We do all the time! While we act as a complete fractional marketing team for some clients, the other half of our time is spent supplementing in-house teams who are looking for a certain level of expertise, whether that be search engine optimization, advertising coordination, creative service, CRM configuration, etc.
Absolutely. While we largely operate marketing systems according to tried and true tiers, your specific deliverables will be defined during your initial Discovery Workshop. This isn't our first rodeo, but once in a while we can still be surprised.
Most of our brand strategy and identity design projects span 6-12 weeks and range from $10k-$50k, while our marketing engagements range from $3k to $12k per month. We also offer a select number of semi-custom start-up packages each quarter for smaller brands looking to get off the ground running. Our start-up packages are 90-day projects.
We work with small- to medium-sized teams across most consumer-facing industries. Most of our clients have an annual marketing budget between $100k - $1M. We have specific expertise in e-commerce, healthcare, hospitality and event spaces, cannabis and CBD, software, higher education, and a few others. However, we will never take on competing businesses.
